In Nagaland, the hornbill carries a force far beyond the forest. With its powerful beak, bold colours and commanding presence, the bird became part of Naga visual memory — seen in stories, attire, festivals and symbols of pride.

Its feathers carried even greater weight.

In Nagaland, the hornbill tail feather, known as Ozümi, has traditionally adorned the headgear of warriors. The headgear was earned through presence, courage and command. It marked the man who had proved himself.

Before he spoke, before the weapon moved, before the charge began — the feathers had already announced him.

Hornbill's WarCry begins from that image: a warrior crowned in hornbill-inspired feathers, body lowered, weapon forward, ready to strike. The headgear rises above him like a battle crown, turning the bird’s force into human aggression.

The T-shirt comes in white, allowing the embroidery colours to hit with full force.

On the front, an embroidered hornbill sits on the left side of the chest. The bird is built in bright yellow, black, blue, green, cyan and red threads, giving it a sharp, alert and watchful presence.

The back carries the full impact: a heavy full-back embroidery of a hornbill warrior in attack stance. His body is low, his weapon is driven forward, and his expression carries raw aggression. The feathered headgear explodes upward and backward, creating a cinematic sense of speed and impact.

The back artwork uses more than 2.3 lakh stitches and 11 colours, building the warrior, weapon, feathers and ground impact through dense threadwork. On the left sleeve, Project Indus is embroidered in black thread, adding a clean brand signature to the white silhouette.

From the chest to the back to the sleeve, the piece builds like a reveal — first the bird, then the warrior, then the war-cry.
